It was another day for us to wake up early because we were going to Nami Island (and Petite France)! I was excited to see the colorful leaves of Nami and feel the autumn vibes! 🍁🍂
We rode a ferry going to Nami Island. You can go either by zipline or ferry. When we got there, colors of purple, orange and yellow vibrantly showed off. It’s a perfect place for a picnic or a walk to shake off stress.
We took pictures in the famous Ginko Tree Lane and Winter Sonata film sites. My sister and I rented a tandem (couple) bike in which we got to see most of Nami. It was fun biking with such a refreshing environment around, and we biked through the Ginko Tree lane 😊 My sister was the front rider and she was kinda challenged maneuvering the bike because she said I was heavy. 🤔 Plus, I do not know how to ride a bike haha. We struggled at the start but we managed.
There is food available! They sell sausage and there are restaurants you can dine in. As for the weather, it was cold when we arrived in the morning but it got warm around 11am.
My personal favorite in Nami aside from the Ginko Tree Lane was in its the north-east where there were many purple and orange trees. They were so pretty! It’s where the photo in my About page was taken. See them below:
Before going back to our bus, we didn’t miss eating Dakgalbi for lunch. 🙂 Dakgalbi (spicy stir-fry chicken) is a combination of marinated chicken, cabbage, rice cake and other ingredients. There are lots of Dakgalbi restaurants in Gapyeong Ferry Wharf and our tour guide said that we shouldn’t miss eating Dakgalbi there besides visiting Nami Island! We ate at Mr. Dakgalbi and what I remember is it was 11,000won (495pesos) per head. The delicious dish got our bellies to the full!
Nami surely was a beautiful poetry. 🧡
